Terms of Service & Warranty Guidelines

1. Scope of Work & Quotation Validity

• All formal cost estimates and material specifications are prepared based on actual physical measurements taken during our on-site inspection.
• Quotations are valid for 30 calendar days from the date of issuance. Pricing is subject to revision if the scope of work or paint product tier is modified by the client.
• Any additional civil work, masonry plaster repairs, structural crack filling, or extra rooms requested after project commencement will be billed as an add-on variation agreed in writing.

2. Color Shade Approval & Tinting

• Clients are provided physical shade fandecks (Asian Paints / Berger / Dulux) during site visits to finalize colors.
• Once computerized machine tinting is executed at authorized dealerships, paint cans cannot be returned or exchanged. Any change in shade after paint purchase will incur material replacement costs.
• Lighting conditions (warm LED vs natural sunlight) may cause slight visual variance compared to printed catalog swatches.

3. Surface Moisture & Seepage Disclaimers

• We perform surface waterproofing treatments using fiber mesh and specialized damp-proof elastomeric coatings as specified in the estimate.
• However, if severe continuous water leakage from concealed bathroom fittings, external drain spouts, or neighbor ceiling seepage is active, the source leakage must be resolved by a plumber before paint application.

4. Service Warranty Terms (Up to 3 Years)

Rapid Home Painters provides comprehensive service assurance on premium paint applications:

• Warranty Coverage: Covers paint peeling, blistering, flaking, or chalking caused by workmanship defects when full recommended coats (primer + 2 putty + 2 top coats) are executed by our team.
• Manufacturer Warranty: Paint product performance warranties (up to 5–10 years on luxury exterior emulsions) are directly supported by respective paint manufacturers (Asian Paints / Berger).
• Warranty Exclusions: Does not cover physical wall damage, heavy structural shifts, accidental chemical spills, water leakage from broken pipes, or dampness on untreated back-walls.

5. Standard Payment Schedule

Payments are phased transparently across project milestones:

• Booking & Material Procurement Advance: 40% upon confirmation & material delivery at site.
• Mid-Project Milestone: 40% upon completion of surface preparation, sanding, putty & primer coats.
• Final Handover: 20% upon final coat completion, touch-up inspection, and site cleaning.

Payments can be made via UPI, Bank Transfer (NEFT/RTGS), or Cheque.

6. Furniture Masking & Site Cleaning

Our crew covers furniture, electrical switchboards, and floors with protective drop cloths and masking tape prior to commencing work. Post-painting floor wash and tape removal are included in our standard execution package. Valuable personal items, cash, and jewelry should be secured by the homeowner beforehand.

7. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in New Delhi, India.
